Jordan Court AC.1
While Retros are now the most sought after sneakers for casual wear, Jordan Brand has always had an interest in producing shoes just for the streets. This summer, Jordan Brand is bringing back the vulcanized sole for its latest lifestyle release, the Jordan Court AC.1. Not too long ago, Jordan Brand introduced the Grown V series which recreated the silhouette of retros with vulcanized soles. For this new release, the inspiration for the AC.1 comes directly from the Retro III. The elephant print overlays and the simple, clean upper from the III make up this lifestyle shoe. Ballistic mesh works the tongue and the ankle, differentiating itself from the Retro III a bit.
Releasing in this three-pack are the “Cool Grey”, “Gym Red”, and “Squadron Green” colorways. Both the “Cool Grey” and “Gym Red” Court AC.1 use nubuck primarily on the upper while the “Squadron Green” Court AC.1 utilizes suede. The Jordan Court AC.1 in these three colorways are available in-stores for $80 each.
