Stylin’ or Wildin’? (MTV VMA’s Edition)
Year in and year out, MTV’s annual ode to the best in video making, the Video Music Awards (VMAs for short), capture the attention of the country — for reasons both good and bad. This past Sunday was no different. With a surplus of A-Listers in attendance — Drake, Kanye West, Taylor Swift, and Daft Punk among others — the VMAs were chock filled with memorable moments. And, at the center of all the madness and hype, as always, was the celebrities’ respective style choices. 2Chainz continued riding the VersaceVersaceVersace wave while Kendrick kept it strictly West Coast in a pair of navy blue Nike Cortezs. Lady Gaga opted for nearly nothing while Katy Perry did her best impersonation of Iron Mike.
All in all, a range of fashion trends and motions were on display, for better and worse. Who do you think killed it? Was Drake’s self promotion a good move? Did you join #TeamMiley last night? Did you like Pharrell, Daft Punk and Nile Rodgers’ sequin tuxedo jackets? Let us know who was stylin’ and who was wildin’ in the comments below or @ us on Twitter @Footaction with your thoughts.
