Seeing a female dunk during a game is as shocking as finding a pair of sneakers you been planning to buy still available for purchase at your local Footaction even after a 30-yard line of sneakerheads formed three days before the release.   Call it shocking, startling, rare or simply sensational, on this day, NCAA phenom Candace Parker of the Tennessee Lady Vols became the first woman to dunk in an NCAA tournament game.  Rising to reach the 10-foot pinnacle, Parker who currently plays for the Los Angeles Sparks, geared into fast break mode midway in the first half versus Army and threw it down with one hand.  Who says women can’t play in the NBA?
