Flight School: Reebok Swingman
In the midst of Reebok’s current retro releases, we dedicate this Flight School to a sneaker that critics label as one of the best Reebok sneakers of all time among the Answers, Omni Pumps and the Kamikazes. Released in 1995, the Swingman was a new dimension to Reebok basketball. With a relatively bulky midsole, Hexalite cushioning, contrasting panels, and the number “88” on the heel, the Swingman served as the perfect point man sneaker for swift movements and sharp cutting. It became popular through guards Sam Cassell and Mugsy Bogues and then became available in high and mid models.
