Reebok x Future Fury Pop Up Shop
To celebrate the iconic InstaPump Fury and the Reebok x Future partnership, Reebok Classic and Footaction have partnered to created the Reebok Fury Pop Up Shop. Located at 125 West 33rd Street in Manhattan, the Shop will be Footaction’s first ever event at NYC33. The Pop Up will be open from 4-8pm on October 11 and from 12-8pm on October 12, and coincides with the NYC concert dates of Future, who’s performance style this summer has often been shaped by the InstaPump Fury “Overbranded.” The InstaPump Fury OB white/black will drop in limited quantities one day earlier than the national release date.
“I’ve really enjoyed rocking Reebok on my tour this summer and have had fun mixing up my looks, but the InstaPump Fury is definitely one of my favorites,” said Future. “This partnership is much more than just one particular shoe, or any shoe for that matter. We’re excited to show everyone the next stage of the Reebok x Future relationship as this is just the beginning.”
The InstaPump Fury is one of the crown jewels of the Reebok Classic collection. First launched in 1994, the futuristic silhouette was very advanced for its time with its inverted Pump air bladder, cutouts, and split midsole, and inspired many collaborations with artists, designers and retailers over the years. The latest iteration of the sneaker is the InstaPump Fury “Overbranded,” which includes an abstracted black Reebok vector logo overlaid across a clean white upper.
The Pop Up Shop will include a “Fury Print Workshop” featuring live pencil sneaker drawings by famed illustrator Steph Morris as well as a “Back to the Fury” InstaPump area that features some of the top Reebok collaborations from years past including John Maeda, Voltron , Chanel, Marvel, and more.
The white and black InstaPump Fury Overbranded ($165) will be available for purchase at NYC33 at the Reebok Fury Pop Up Shop on Tuesday, October 11 and Wednesday, October 12. The shoe will have it’s general release online and in select Footaction stores on October 12th.
