Star Spotlight: Paul George
Paul George, now in his 4th year in the league, is dubbed an NBA superstar by many of his peers. In the 2013 playoffs, George made that clear with a tough 7 game series against the Miami Heat. Averaging over 19 points a game, George went toe-to-toe against LeBron James whom many believe is the best player in the NBA. When George first came into the league he was only classified for his high flying dunks, but over the years it really showed he had his mindset to be the best in the league: developing an overall game of being able to shoot from virtually anywhere while still flying over the opposition while finishing strong at the rim.
This past weekend against the Los Angeles Clippers, Paul George threw down a 360 windmill dunk which echoed Vince Carter’s dunk in the 2000 NBA Slam Dunk Contest. The major difference is that George was on a fast break in an actual game. If George isn’t high on your radar yet, you should sit and watch the Pacers again soon.
